When you come home after a long and stressful day it’s important to take some time to care for your body and relax your mind. A good way to release all your stress and frustration is practicing sports. Sports bring you excellent options for relaxing, and help you have a healthy body.
Nowadays, there are many sports you can practice at home (if you don't have time to go to a gym), one of this is yoga. Yoga is a combination of breathing exercises, physical postures, and meditation.
A yoga exercise: (The kneeling back stretch)
The kneeling back stretch is a great yoga exercise that stretches out your back, core, chest, shoulders, and quads. Kneel down on your knees. Keep you body upright and tall. Reach your hands back and grab your ankles. If you are flexible enough round your back into the stretch and drop you head back.
If this is a difficult exercise for you, the practice will help you increase your flexibility. What is important here is to take some time for you and your body every day.
More options
If you are interested in an exercise that helps you to lose weight or tone your body, you can make a routine after the kneeling back stretch. But there are some tips you may consider if you want to begin a routine. For example, it is well known that you have to burn more calories than you eat, so dedicate time for every meal; eat healthy food, vegetables, drinks abundant water, sleep enough (7 to 9 hours every night), and of course be in motion. One helpful exercise for your routine can be Aerobics.
Aerobics:
Aerobics are an excellent option to burn fat and increase your metabolism. A practical advantage of aerobics is that your body produces more red blood cells and it becomes easier for your muscles to obtain oxygen. The recommended aerobics time is 30 minutes per day.
There are different types of aerobics: bicycling, running, fast walking, dancing, etc. Some sports are classified like aerobics too, like soccer, basketball, hiking and swimming. You can take some classes like step, zumba and cardio kick boxing.
Remember that every person, and every person's body, is different, so the intensity and effect of the sports and exercises will work differently on everyone.
