Fitness for a Good Sports Performance

For a good performance in any sport you need to have discipline for practicing it well, and also several features just like be organized, be competitive, commitment and strategy, and also if you have the talent or the ease to play one specific or many sports it would be a huge help, but one thing that you really need at the time of compete is a good physical condition to give your best sport performance.


First, you need to get fit to practice a sport for a few reasons: to prevent injuries, to be able to play the sport the time that is established, to be capable to make the moves and the exercises that the sport practice requires, and also the practices with your team will help you with the strategy, to keep on learning and also to know and create bonds with another players, so training is very important.


For example, in Football, Basketball or Soccer you need to be in shape to play the sports or you would not be in the court for more than five minutes, these sports teams (professionally) practice daily to all the competitions, they usually need to train endurance for the long matches that are between two and three hours per match and even 2 or almost 3 matches in a range of 8 days in the case of some soccer competitions. A really good and clear example of the fitness and the training of a player can and will affect his (her) performance in.


Tennis are matches even of five hours straight with little breaks, there is when you can see the endurance and how much training that player had, if it is a 3 set match and in the second set the players is tired, how this players could keep playing in the same way as the first set in the first game?


The kind of game and strategy of that player will change the performance of his (her) game in the rest of the match, if you can keep on running in a Football or Soccer match to catch or to get a ball, your team will feel the consequences of that, this is why a good training, diet and a good fitness program can change the result of a match and will improve the performance of the player.
